1. What ChefOps AI Is
ChefOps AI is a data organization and visualization tool, not a financial, accounting, or business advisory service. The platform helps food and beverage operators record vendor invoice data, monitor ingredient price changes over time, and view rolling food cost percentages based on information they choose to enter.
2. Data You Enter
All calculations, charts, and reports shown in ChefOps AI are based solely on data entered by the user (including invoice uploads, manual entries, and revenue inputs). ChefOps AI does not independently verify any figure.
3. AI Parsing — No Warranty of Accuracy
ChefOps AI uses automated and AI-assisted tools to read uploaded invoices and other documents. ChefOps AI makes no warranties on the accuracy of any AI-parsed invoice data. Parsed line items, prices, units, and totals may contain errors and must be reviewed by the user.
4. User Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for verifying all data entered into ChefOps AI and for any business, purchasing, or operational decisions made from information displayed on the platform.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChefOps AI LLC is not liable for any financial, operational, consequential, incidental, or indirect loss arising from use of the platform, including reliance on any displayed figure, AI-parsed data, or chart.
6. Right to Submit Data
Invoice data submitted by users may contain vendor pricing that is confidential under third-party agreements. By uploading or entering any data, the user represents and warrants that they have the right to submit that data to ChefOps AI for processing.
7. Data Retention — 90-Day Rolling Window
User data is stored for a maximum of 90 days on a rolling basis and is then automatically purged. This auto-purge is a designed feature of the platform, not merely a policy commitment.
8. No Sale or Sharing of User Data
ChefOps AI does not sell, share, or disclose user data to any third party under any circumstances. Data entered into the platform is used solely to power the user's own dashboards, calculations, and reports.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.
